Cetyltrimethylammonium chloride is a cationic surfactant, which is resistant to heat, light, light, strong acids, and alkali, and has good surface activity, stability, and biodegradability.

Hexadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride is used as a bactericide in water treatment of petroleum, paper, food processing, textile, and other industries. It can be used as an antistatic agent in natural and synthetic fibers, plastics, papermaking, and other industries, a softener for leather, fiber softener, a finishing agent for pigment, an emulsifier for asphalt, and a highetemperature resistant water-in-oil emulsified slurry.
